AS far as unlikely friendships go, Ronnie Wood and Prince William’s is certainly not one we saw coming.
After the pair recently bonded over their shared love of rhinos at a conservation event, the Rolling Stones rocker says they have now become pals.
Ronnie’s youngest kids Gracie Jane and Alice Rose are only two.
But he is already eyeing up the possibility of them forming a band with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
He was speaking at the launch of his theatre producer wife Sally’s fantastic rock musical Wasted. It is playing at London’s Southwark Playhouse until October 6 and is the perfect female empowerment production in the #MeToo era.
Ronnie said: “He’s a really nice man and didn’t know I painted, so I am going to send him one of my art books.
“I’ve done a painting of the Queen. I hope to paint him next and, if we got our kids together, they could start a band.”
It means that Ronnie now offers his new royal pal advice. Perhaps the guitarist could have given tips on fatherhood, navigating the pitfalls of fame, or even having a full head of hair at the age of 71. Nope.
He added: “We chatted about my rhino, Spike, and how beautiful Africa is. Sally’s never been, so I’d like to take her. My advice was in relation to rhinos.”
As long as the talk didn’t involve any tips on getting, ahem, horny.

Riri’s a frill seeker
RIHANNA is still a smash hit with fans, even though it’s been ages since she last released an album.
The singer has been busy focusing on her make-up brand Fenty Beauty.
She celebrated its one-year anniversary in New York while wearing this stunning pink dress on Friday night.
Two days earlier, her Savage X Fenty lingerie collection debuted at New York Fashion Week – although preparing for the show had left RiRi getting next to no sleep.
She said: “I’m up every night until 7am depending on the time difference, just to make sure I’m involved.”
It was almost not the only thing to debut on the runway after pregnant model Slick Woods, who walked in the show, went into labour backstage and gave birth just 14 hours later.
Speaking about her decision to have Slick appear, Rihanna said: “Women are the strongest people on Earth.
“Our bodies alone are made to do so many different things and they’re designed in so many different, unique ways.
“If you have the blessing to bring life into this world, it should be celebrated as well.”
If the baby had come any sooner, that celebration could have been very different.
Bygone Years
AFTER eight years together, Years & Yeasr may take a break.
Frontman Olly Alexander says he is thinking of leaving bandmates Emre Turkemen and Mikey Goldsworthy to go solo. In a chat to Asos mag – exclusively available at asos.com for £1 – he said: “The other guys are getting married and they’re gonna have kids, whereas I wanna be like, s**t-dropping on stage.”

Chic Nic looks in the pink
SHE’S done Cats and Dirty Dancing already but it seems Nicole Scherzinger is eyeing up a role in Grease next.
The ex-Pussycat Doll ditched the jacket but looked like a shoo-in for a 2018 version of Grease’s Pink Ladies in this dress, right.
A role in any remake could come in handy, as she is not exactly bowled over with jobs at the moment, having been cut from this year’s X Factor.
She still had the cash for a night out at London hotspot Annabel’s on Friday night though.
Not bad going at all.
Rob’s big regret
WE can’t say we are devastated or surprised that Channel 5 is getting rid of Big Brother after 18 years – but Robbie Williams clearly is.
He said: “It just can’t be. It cannot be. I love Big Brother. I haven’t missed an episode in ten years. I’m a superfan. Unpopular opinion, I know, from many people, but if you don’t get it you don’t get it.”
Despite his claim, he must have watched Friday’s launch for the final series on catch-up as he was at exclusive LA seafood restaurant Catch.
Just a week after welcoming their third child Coco, he and wife Ayda, dined out with Petra Ecclestone and her boyfriend Sam Palmer.
Beats baby food any day.

Monkey's still the business
ARCTIC MONKEYS marked their four-night run at The O2 Arena in London with an after-party on Thursday at music venue Omeara.
The Sheffield boys booked a Beatles tribute band for the event after seeing them play a friend’s wedding recently. They stayed chatting with mates at the bash in Southwark, South London, into Friday morning.
And the drink was well earned – as their gig earlier showed why they are still Britain’s biggest band.
They played favourites including Brianstorm, Teddy Picker, Do I Wanna Know, Dancing Shoes and the biggest singalong of the night, I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.
New tracks from Mercury Prize-nominated album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino also impressed among the classics.
Frontman Alex Turner often sang without his guitar and crooned across the stage, shaking his hips like David Bowie in his prime.
During Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? he found a bra thrown on stage by a fan and span it above his head while singing to the 20,000-strong crowd.
Not many front-men could do that and still look cool.
