RIO FERDINAND slammed Manchester United’s stars after their horror show in the 3-1 defeat to West Ham.
The former Old Trafford legend, 39, criticised the team’s work ethic and inability to hold the ball in the heavy loss in London.
Ferdinand now believes there will be talk about the future of the players as well as boss Jose Mourinho.
The ex-United man saidsaid: “As a a footballer your DNA is about hard work and effort. I didn’t see that today.
“I didn’t see them make two or three passes in succession – that’s criminal.
“I don’t see enough players working hard to say to the manager ‘this is my place in the team’.
“You’ve got to work hard and grind and Man United didn’t. There are some big decisions to be made at United now.
“There will be conversations at the top level, about the future of the manager and the squad, because the basics are not being done.
“There has to be something said.”
Ferdinand went on to say: “I believe powers be at this football club have a decision to make.

“It’s getting too much. All the little wars in the dressing room, the stories leaking out in the press.
“This could be the worst season in the club’s history if something doesn’t change – and fast.
“They’ve got to make a decision right now – bang.
“It was like a testimonial out there for United. There was no one out there setting the tone.
“And then you look at West Ham’s application and attitude throughout.
“You see (Pablo) Zabaleta, a 33-year-old, chasing for balls up and down the wing and showing that winning mentality.”
