A couple who have been together for 10 years and share two children have revealed how they invited another woman to join their relationship after meeting on Instagram, and hope to expand their family with her.
Kori Baker, 27, and Stephen Pape, 28, from Phoenix, Arizona met their girlfriend, photographer, Katarina Kearns, 26, when the two women bonded over their love for yoga and photography.
The throuple - who describe themselves as a 'tribe' - consider the relationship they formed last November to be like any other monogamous one and have sex, go on dates and trips away together.

The 'throuple' is pictured with Stephen and Kori's children, Payson, eight, and Hadlee, two, who both see Katarina (center) as a second 'mama'
Kori and Stephen gave Katarina a promise ring just before Christmas to symbolise their love for her, while their children Hadlee and Payson love the additional attention they receive from their new 'mama' Katarina.
And Katarina hopes to have children with the pair despite her own parents not approving of her joining the open-minded couple.
'Polyamory means dating more than one person at one time. In our case, we are a closed triad, some choose to have an open relationship, but we do not. So, the three of us is dating each other equally,' explained Kori.
'It means an abundance of love but also communication and understanding. Opening up to things like desires, fantasies, needs, issues, and concerns within the tribe or one person themselves, we are all here for each other.
'Everyone brings something to our tribe.
'We are very happy, outgoing, positive people. We love to be outdoors, stay active with yoga, mountain biking, and hiking.'
For their first meet up, they got together at the park where Katarina took pictures of Kori practicing yoga whilst Stephen and their children, Payson, eight, and Hadlee, two, played around them.

The trio do everything together from sex to date nights to weekends away and say that communication is the key to avoiding jealousy
The three adults instantly clicked and soon fell in love, deciding to form a triad.
'We met through Instagram since Kori is a yogi and Kat is a photographer so we got together and took photos while Stephen and the kids played at the park we were at,' Kori said.
'We have a lot of things in common, so we always have a good time when we're together.
'We just clicked and the more we all hung out we said let's give a shot. And it's worked out really well.

Katarina (left) said that her mother is a lesbian and is therefore understanding of her alternative relationship with Kori and her partner
'We do as much possible together as a triad. We think of our relationship is as normal as most monogamous relationships, just with three people.
'Whether it's date nights, weekend trips up north, even sex, we do it all together. We're just lucky enough to have three.
'The children love it, and they love Kat, they get lots of love and attention and Kat does an amazing job with them.
Kori and Stephen's two children are delighted by the extra attention they get from their second 'mama' Katarina (left) who is hoping to have a baby with the couple in the future
Better together! Kori and Katarina in matching outfits with Stephen. In the beginning there was some jealousy in the relationship but they have overcome it with open communication
'We always tell people she's the missing piece to our puzzle, that we didn't even know was missing.'
The throuple have been together for around ten months now and their families are mostly accepting of their setup. They say that they communicate openly with each other to eliminate any feelings of jealousy that may arise.
One day, Kat would like to have children with the couple to add to their tribe.
'Stephen's family is very accepting. I have lesbian mum(s) so they are understanding, my father gave me some c*** about how he doesn't understand, but it's not his life,' added Kori.

Stephen (centre) said that their choice to be a trio may not be conventional but it's simply that they all have a lot of love to give and are 'brave' enough to open their hearts
'Unfortunately, Kat's parents have not been so positive and understanding. They don't approve yet, but we hope they come around eventually. Most of our siblings, extended family, and friends have all been very accepting and loving toward us.
'In the beginning, yes there was some jealousy but that's where lots of communication helps. You have to speak what your feeling or those feelings never get resolved.
'We definitely have our serious conversations when someone is feeling jealous or upset.
Kori, Katarina and Stephen have been together for 10 months since meeting on Instagram and are hoping to have children together in the future
Date night! Katarina, Kori and Stephen enjoying a n outing together. They insist their relationship is just like that of any monogamous couple except there are three of them
The three say that they enjoy dates just like any other monogamous couple and spend all their time together since forming a triad in November 2017
'Kat said she would have kids with us and we would love to add to the tribe when were all ready.
'We are humans just like everyone else. We seek love and happiness. We were just brave enough to open our hearts and give love to more than one person, and that makes us unique beings.
'Our love and choices may not follow the "social norm" but that doesn't make our love wrong.'
