Kerri-Anne Kennerley, 64, has admitted she was in the wrong after being fined $183 by the Roads and Traffic Authority for parking across her own driveway.
The Studio 10 host was docked two demerit points and slapped with a fine after she momentarily left the car parked, while assisting her disabled husband John, 77, from their Woollahra home.
She disputed the RTA infringement and the told Who magazine on Thursday that they eventually let her off with a warning.

'It did get resolved. The parking around Woollahra [in Sydney] is always a problem,' she said.
'I was in the wrong because I'd left the car in the wrong spot, in front of my garage.
She added: 'It was technically illegal, but the RTA let me off with a warning and said don't do it again.'
Last month, the TV veteran called into The Kyle and Jackie O Show to complain about the incident.
She blasted 'bureaucratic stupidity' and revealed that she initially failed to have her fine voided after writing a letter explaining her situation.

Kerri-Anne and John live behind a school, and the incident occurred shortly before 9AM, when their one-way laneway is busy with parents doing the school drop-off.
The former Midday presenter said she parked 'right up against her garage' in order to hoist John into the car, rather than doing so on their busy street, which would have caused a bank up of traffic.
However, Kerri-Anne's decision to be courteous came at a cost.

She told Kyle and Jackie O: 'I explained to them [the RTA] there is no alternative, and in a perfect world I wouldn't go out at school time, but it was important. They said, 'No, because it was a school zone, you still cop a fine and two points''.
The bubbly presenter then joked that she wanted Kyle to hear out her case on his new reality TV show, Trial By Kyle.
'I'd rather spend $183 on some nice wine',' she sighed.
No deal: Over the weekend, Kerri-Anne told Private Sydney that she had pleaded with the RTA for leniency, but they have not voided the fine
Over the weekend, Kerri-Anne told Private Sydney that she had pleaded with the RTA for leniency.
'We have a mobility pass on the windscreen. I pointed that out to the parking inspector, and that we were actually parked across our own driveway and not interfering with the flow of traffic in any way, but they wouldn't have a bar of it. They still pinged us. I was furious, it really is stupid bureaucracy without consideration of the circumstance,' Kerri-Anne told the publication.
The fine was left on her windscreen after she momentarily left her car in the driveway in order to collect John from inside.

Kerri-Anne has taken on a carer's role after John was left paralysed after he fell over on the lawn outside a golf resort in 2016.
Earlier this year, she told New Idea about John's condition, explaining: 'He needs care 24/7, he still can't push a button and can't feed himself, but the rest of his health is good'.
Despite the hardship and challenges over the last few years, the TV star has remained motivated and determined.
'We need to just get on with it. Life is for living, appreciate it,' she defiantly told the magazine.
'We still like to have a good time, we like to chat, we read the newspaper - we discuss events... we just can't go out like we used to.'
