The rule break was discovered after filming - meaning the show had to be re-recorded.

Bez's girlfriend won two auction items, a mirror and a music turntable, giving the red team an £8 profit and victory.

Cocker and Pulp's keyboard player Candida Doyle lost £95 on the items - but won after the rule break came to light.

The show's executive producer Paul Tucker added: 'We have rules and regulations on Bargain Hunt and we have to make sure they abide by them.

'It was picked up by a runner and we verified there were clearly misdemeanours going on.

'It was a genuine rule that was broken and we had to reshoot the end.'
