Socialite Francesca Packer Barham has listed her Melbourne investment property on the market.

The 24-year-old niece of billionaire James Packer purchased the South Yarra property in 2015 for $1.41 million as a decor project, according to RealEstate.com.au.  

She reportedly has her sights set on establishing a career as an interior designer and is hoping to spend more time in London after selling the stylish abode.

Last year Francesca, who is studying at the Inchbald School of Design in London, spoke to Confidential about her following in her mother Gretel's footsteps.

'Design is really fun. It is something I always had an ­interest in that has grown ­recently,' she said.

'My mum used to do ­interior design with one of my godmothers (Adelaide Bragg), and between the two of them they used to have a design company together,' she added, referring to their firm Barham and Bragg Design.
