DELTA Airlines has grounded all flights in the US due to a “technology issue” – sparking chaos for thousands of passengers.

The airline issued the following statement: “Delta IT teams are working diligently to address a technology issue impacting some of our systems.

“We have issued a nationwide Delta groundstop as we work to bring systems back up as quickly as possible.

“We apologise to all customers for this inconvenience.”
