JOSH SCOWEN went off in a strop as Steve McClaren’s QPR crashed out of the Carabao Cup.
Midfielder Scowen was furious with McClaren for deciding to sub him midway through the first half because he was in danger of a second booking.
Scowen threw up his arms in horror and stormed to the touchline where he booted the bottles and went up the tunnel as he snubbed his manager.
The incident summed up a shoddy Rangers show and Terry McPhillips’s Blackpool deservedly dumped them to reach the fourth round comfortably.
Curtis Tilt’s close-range volley and Jordan Thompson’s teasing cross-shot both showed that Blackpool had a hunger and a threat.
Skipper Jay Spearing’s stinging free kick forced keeper Matt Ingram into a fine save before Scowen and Osman Kakay went in the book for chopping down giant target man Armand Gnanduillet and Callum Guy respectively.
Ingram scrambled away a Ben Heneghan header as the Seasiders scented a shock and the under-strength Rangers side creaked.

Scowen was then lectured after crashing into Guy when he could have been sent off and that made McClaren decide to take him off.
Blackpool took advantage to go in front when Spearing’s corner reached Heneghan at the far post and Gnanduillet crashed in his headed knock-down.
The poor Rangers discipline went on when Ilias Smith complained about a decision and he was booked for dissent.
Jordan Cousins made it four cautions in the first half for a trip. Blackpool had the edge in all areas and Ryan McLaughlin was close to a second from a Joe Dodoo’s cross.
The Rangers fans were unhappy with the attempts at a comeback, booing when left back Niko Hamalainen hit a free kick from one touchline to the other – a good 40 yards from any team-mate.
Cousins was sent off in the 70th minute for squaring up to Thompson after a tackle.
Referee Tim Robinson had little option, giving the midfielder his second booking of a bad night.
Bright Osayi-Samuel added to Rangers woes when he had to limp off with a knee injury against his old club.
The outstanding Spearing grabbed Blackpool’s second in the 90th minute when he slotted home from the edge of the box after Dodoo teed him up.
