It appears that Channel 10 is on a bit of a budget this year when it comes to The Bachelor. 

For the show's host Osher Gunsberg was seen helping the camera crew carry equipment while filming the finale of the show in New Caledonia, back in May.   

The 44-year-old  proved he's not afraid of hard yakka, rolling up his sleeves and resting a tripod over his shoulder as the crew trudged through the dense bushland.

Osher was prepared to get his hands dirty, ditching his dapper tuxedo for a casual ensemble consisting of a striped T-shirt and a pair of navy shorts.

The star, who has had social media accounts set-up in honour of his brunette coif, proudly displayed his well-groomed mane as he traipsed through the scrub. 

Seemingly unfazed by his heavy load, he beamed as as he lugged the weighty camera tripod through the forest.

Meanwhile back at the resort located on the west coast of New Caledonia, crew members were spotted transporting a woman through the lush grounds on a golf buggy.

Daily Mail can confirm that it is Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman who are the final two.

It is widely rumoured that Brittany receives Nick's final rose however it is understood the couple's relationship doesn't last. 

A production source told Daily Mail Australia earlier this month: 'The Honey Badger's relationship is already over. This is obviously not what we wanted.'

Meanwhile, it emerged last week that Nick will be overseas when finale airs next month, possibly in a bid to avoid public scrutiny over his split with the winner.

The sportsman will be in Papua New Guinea leading an 11-day Kokoda trail hike. 

Nick told Daily Mail Australia in a statement that the trek was organised before he signed on to The Bachelor.

He said: 'Walking the Kokoda Trail has been a dream of mine for many years. The opportunity to team up with the Grass Skirt Project and take keen adventurers to Papua New Guinea came about late last year, before I committed to The Bachelor. To say I am leaving the country for any other reason is completely false and misleading.'
