A POLICE car got so filthy its number plate was illegally obscured.
A passer-by dished the dirt after cops warned drivers about mud on vehicles.

Stephen McGowan, 42, had asked on Twitter if he could be stopped for an unreadable muddy rear plate.
Lincs Police replied: “Yes you can get pulled over as front and rear number plates must be securely affixed and readable at all times.”
Stephen, of Skegness, then tweeted a pic of the squad car at a local Tesco, adding: “I would give you the registration number, but . . . “
Offenders can be fined £1,000.
