A MUM claims she was forced to take her two little girls out of school because they were so severely bullied.
Michelle Murray says her daughters Aimee-Rose Reynolds, six, and Lilah-Grace, four, came home covered in bruises because they weren’t friends with other classmates.
The concerned mother alleged that bullies had shoved her daughters around in the playground and that Aimee-Rose had so much hair pulled out by a group of boys in one incident that she had to have her hair cut to hide the bald patch.
Michelle says she had meetings with the school and wrote to Ofsted and Birmingham City Council — but no one was prepared to help.
Staff at Ark Kings Primary Academy in Birmingham say they have not received a formal complaint from Michelle.
But two weeks ago, Michelle decided to take her girls out of the school and educate them herself at home.
She claims the bullying started in September 2017 when Aimee-Rose was just five.
Michelle told the Birmingham Mail: “She came home with a bald patch that bad I had to cut her hair to cover it up. To see someone hurt your child like that, well, it just broke me.”
She said she complained to the Academy Head, the Head of School and the Safeguarding Teacher about the incident — but was told it was her daughter’s fault and they weren’t going to do anything about it.

Then when Lilah-Grace started at the school, bullies turned on her too, Michelle claims.
She said: “Lilah-Grace was born premature so she’s small and has learning difficulties which means she can’t talk properly.”
Michelle says a pupil threw Lilah-Grace across the playground into mud after telling her they didn’t want to play with her.
But the two girls continued to be verbally and physically bullied despite telling teachers, according to Michelle.
Then Michelle says she was targeted by one of the pupil’s mums at the school gates, forcing her to stop picking up the girls herself from school.
When staff at the school investigated the issue, they concluded that the problems stemmed from Michelle’s daughter not wanting to be friends with the people who were bullying her.
This was the final straw for Michelle, who then took the difficult decision to homeschool her kids.
A spokesperson for Ark Kings Academy said: “We take the safeguarding and wellbeing of our pupils very seriously at Ark Kings.
“We have extensive feedback from parents who feel their children are well-supported by the school.
“To help with this, we have robust complaints and anti-bullying policies that we follow at all times.

“Whenever concerns are raised by parents or pupils, we investigate them thoroughly and resolve them promptly.
“In this instance, we have not received a complaint from the parent.”
Michelle claims she sent two letters of complaint to the headteacher which did not receive a reply.
