THE music video for XXXTentacion’s single Moonlight has been released, three months after he was shot dead.
The 20-year-old was gunned down in an alleged robbery in Florida, and died shortly afterwards in hospital.
Moonlight was released just before the attack and became his second-highest charting track, reaching number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 after his death.
The music video for the song has now emerged, and shows the rapper smiling and laughing to himself as he wanders through a party watching his friends having a good time.
The clip ends with an emotional tribute to the rapper, real name Jahseh Onfroy, which read: “Energy never dies.
“He is amongst us. Long live Jah.”
XXXTentacion is credited as both the writer and creative director of the project.
The rapper was shot down as he drove away from a motorbike showroom in Deerfield Beach, Florida, in a suspected robbery.
Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, Robert Allen and Trayvon Newsome, all in their 20s, have been charged with his murder.
The chilling moment gunmen stalked the rapper before shooting him dead was caught on CCTV, and shown in court at the Broward County court hearing last month.
Police say the pair tried to grab his chain before Tentacion was shot dead from point blank range.
The men allegedly got away with the rapper’s Louis Vuitton bag stuffed with £38,000 in cash. Jahseh is seen wearing a bag by the same designer in the music video.
XXXTentacion’s family claim it was not a random hit – with his sister believing he was set up by a member of his inner circle.
She told The Sun Online last month: “There’s somebody on the inside that knew where he was going to be and the exact time he was leaving for the murderers to know when to come and to do what they did.
“It definitely was set up.”

The artist had more than 500,000 Twitter followers and 400 millions plays on SoundCloud prior to his death.
XXXTentacion was arrested himself three times in 2016, first on charges of robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
He was then arrested for aggravated battery of a pregnant victim and false imprisonment, and again for violating his pre-trial agreement.
