SNOW could hit the country this month according to bookies’ odds, as Brits woke to a chilly start today.
London has been given a 10/1 chance by Betway to see a scatter of the white stuff, whereas Glasglow is the UK’s most likely place to see snow at 10/3 and Edinburgh at 4/1.

Met Office forecaster, Bonnie Diamond, is less enthusiastic about the chance of snow this month but hasn’t dismissed it.
She said: “I really can’t say if there will be snow this month, but it’s not unheard of to have snow at this time of year.
“Temperatures throughout the country are set to remain above freezing this week, but rural areas in the North could see some frost.

“Temperatures today are quite fresh, compared to how it has been, with the top temperature reaching 15 degrees in the south.
“The temperatures for Tuesday are set to slightly be higher from today’s max in the south, so we could be looking at 20C in London.
Despite the bitter mornings, this week will be largely dry and sunny[/caption]
“Tomorrow it’s expected to be rather cloudly, bits of rain across Northern Ireland and Wales, but for everywhere else it’s looking largely dry.
Wednesday is set to be another warmer day for London, with highs of 19C, further north across Scotland it will be 15C.
