Astrologist Jake Register, 21, told Cosmopolitan how the 12 zodiac signs should dress to make the most out of the season, detailing the best colors, shapes, and styles for each of them.

Fall marks the beginning of Libra season, which goes from September 22 to October 23 and impacts not just Libras but also Capricorns and Aquariuses. While those three signs might want to pay extra attention to their sartorial choices throughout that period, each of the 12 signs can take steps to dress accordingly to the planets.

Aries

November is a great month for Aries to learn, explore different culture, and discover new places — meaning it's the perfect time for travel.

Jake recommended focusing on warm colors — such as reds, oranges, and yellows — since Aries is a fire sign.

This is a season for comfort — who would want to be held back by tight-fitting garments during the trip of a lifetime? 

In that spirit, Jake urged Aries to stick to 'loose and flowy and comfortable' garments and to keep their make-up 'low-key'.

Taurus

The beginning of fall might be a tough time for Tauruses due to Venus being in retrograde, Jake said, but they should feel ready to bounce back come mid-November.

This means they might want to favor no-nonsense, work-appropriate outfits putting them in the right mindset to go after their goals.

'Tauruses don't have a lot of drama — they're cut and dry, matter of fact, and that goes all the way to their wardrobe choices,' Jake told Cosmo.

Structured, neutral pieces seem perfect for that time of the year, and they can be brightened up with a fresh make-up look.

Gemini

Geminis should enjoy stronger friendships than usual and see serious relationships blossom from November on.

Jake pointed out they might want to wear yellow to reflect the fact that they're an air sign, and encouraged them to pile on the accessories.

'It needs to have not too much going on but a lot going on at the same time — that's what Geminis are all about,' he said.

Cancer

Cancers should expect a serene, relaxed fall — and that mindset should guide their outfit choices.

Jake explained that cancers might want to go for cozy pieces, without getting 'too comfortable' — for example, they could go for a large sweatshirt and elevate it with a belt.

Cancers might want to go for dark ocean blues in keeping with their water sign and should feel free to experiment on the make-up front — perhaps with a winged eyeliner.

Tried and true: Virgos, meanwhile, might want to pair a rock and roll band T-shirt with sexy leggings, a combination tested by Gigi Hadid in 2016

Leo 

This season should be the season of romance for Leos, meaning it's time for them to take a look at their wardrobes to put together bold outfits for the many date nights they're about to embark on.

Leather is a key fabric for Leos, according to Jake, as well as sexy designs such as cutouts.

Leos might also want to go for loud colors such as a bright red, in accordance to their fire sign, as well as busy patterns.

Virgo

Virgos like to shine, but their outfits might not be as loud as that of a Leo. 

Mid-November will be a great time for them to strike up a new friendship, which they might want to do in a cool yet slightly understated outfit.

That means pairing a casual piece such as a fun band T-shirt with a flashier garment — for example, sexy leggings — and fun accessories. 

Signs: Libras' outfits should reflect this breezy, romantic time of the year — for example with a plunging maxi dress like the one Gina Rodriguez wore earlier this month

Bold: Scorpios will want to go for power outfits in bold colors, such as Jameela Jamil's bright red pantsuit, which she wore in April

Libra

Libras can expect to have a flirty fall — cuffing season is, after all, their season.

Their outfits should reflect this breezy, romantic, care-free time of the year, starting with sexy details such as a slit.

Color-wise, they might want to go for grays, whites, blues, and purples, all of which reflect the spirit of their air sign.

On the beauty front, Jake encouraged Libras to have fun with hair rollers to create soft, retro curls.

Scorpio

Scorpio season, which extends from October 23 to November 22, is a great time for Scorpios to check major items off their to-do list and excel while they're doing it.

Fashion-wise, this translates into power outfits featuring bold colors such as purple, red, and black.

Scorpios might want to play around with interesting textures and shapes, mixing figure-hugging pieces with eye-catching details such as fringe.

Overall, though, it's all about projecting hard-at-work energy — and if Scorpios feel like matching their lip color to their outfits, so much the better.

Sagittarius

Sagittarians are in for a treat: starting on November 8, they should experience the luckiest, happiest season.

Since they're a 'loud and proud' sign, they might want to go for oranges, Jake said.

A silk jumpsuit would be especially fitting, especially paired with a peach blush and matching eye make-up.

Capricorn

Capricorns should expect to feel extra confident at work and to see their achievements acknowledged by those around them.

That means it's a time for workplace-friendly pieces honoring their earth sign with gray, metallic, and deep green hues.

Structured details and patterns such as pinstripes could be especially pleasing for Capricorns.

'Pinstripes are important to a Capricorn, because they're structured and organized, and this sign is all about things falling in line,' Jake said.

Looking good! This fall is also a great season for Pisces to wear green hues, such as the teal dress worn by Tess Holliday in New York City in September

Aquarius

Libra season is a time for Aquariuses, the most eccentric sign of all according to Jake, to explore and express their creativity.

This applies to their outfits too. Jake urged Aquariuses to seek out gray, white, and blue tones in keeping with their air sign, while honoring their 'boho and hippie' spirit.

Make-up can be a chance to stand out too, thanks to mismatched eye shadow tones on each eye or interesting eyeliner shapes.

Pisces 

Pisces are likely to have an emotional, rocky fall — but they might end the season feeling even closer to their loved ones than before.

This time of the year is all about green hues for Pisces, in order to honor their water sign. They might want to go for colors such as teal as well as darker blues. 

For their everyday outfits, Pisces might favor loose, comfortable garments, which they can upgrade to a sexier version for a night out.
