Anaïs Gallagher has paid tribute to younger brother Sonny as he celebrates his eighth birthday.

The daughter of Oasis legend Noel Gallagher and Meg Matthews shared a shot of the inking with Instagram followers on Monday.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: ‘Happy birthday Sonny!! I love you endlessly. You are the funniest and craziest 8 year old I’ve ever met! You literally are the light and sunshine in everyone’s life and for that we’re all eternally grateful.’

She added: ‘I can’t wait to watch you grow from strength to strength and see all your mental endeavours. You are a legend.’ 

The tattoo incorporates Sonny's initials in a distinctive curved font on the 18-year old model's lower wrist.  

Sonny, Noel's son with second wife Sara MacDonald, was born on October 1 2010.

Anaïs previously admitted that she's learnt to embrace her role within the next generation of the famed 'Primrose Hill set' as her parents did before her.

Speaking to the August issue of Tatler magazine, the model reflected on her connection to the group - which included the likes of supermodel Kate Moss and actress Sadie Frost.

She said: 'I've learned now, you've got to embrace it. We all still live there, we've grown up together and are relatively close.

'There's a deep connection with these friendships because they've been there our whole lives'.

On feminism growing up in her household, Anais explained it was never something that was discussed, adding: 'People patronise you about the experience of being a teenage girl... I never saw life like that.'

The young model appeared in her first campaign for Accessorise when she was just 14.

Anaïs was recently unveiled as the new face of Reebok, and even rocked the runway for Dolce And Gabbana for Milan Fashion Week in 2017.
