IF you’re worried about keeping your valuables and important documents safe in your home, Aldi has just launched a new home security range – and it includes a digital electronic safe.
The safe is made from a solid steel construction with concealed hinges and a double bolt lock.
It comes in an outer size of 20 cm x 31 cm x 20 cm and an inner size of 19.6 cm x 30.6 cm x 14 cm – and weighs roughly 5.5 kg.
The supermarket’s home security range also includes smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, heavy duty padlocks as well as colour surveillance cameras for £19.99 per camera.
It also includes an online-only Rothenberger Thermal Imaging Camera which can help you cut heating and water bills by showing exactly where heat is being lost or water is leaking, even when hidden.
The camera is not for the average Brit though – it costs an eye-watering £899 and is the only item you can’t buy in stores.
The home security range is available to pre-order online from today and goes on sale in Aldi stores on Sunday.
The launch coincides with National Home Security month in October.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
