"Many Photos" - Woman shares horrifying photo of her intricate hairdo

Most brides get a 'trial' with their hairdresser before their wedding day so they can workshop their dream style ahead of time.

And now one bride-to-be is likely wishing she'd done the same after her wedding hairstyle ended up very different to the one she had in mind.

The American woman, who posted in an Australian wedding shaming Facebook group, was clearly dismayed at the outcome, sharing photos of what she expected and what she ultimately ended up with.

And this bride-to-be was likely wishing she'd done the same when her wedding day hair turned out to be a misshapen version of her dream look (expectation left and reality right)

'I'll just drop this here... left is what I asked for... right is what I got. This was a professional who was paid over $100 USD ($138 AUD),' she captioned the images.

Thousands of comments were shared on the post, with many hoping she managed to get her money back after the messy swept back bun result.

'If you're already going to do a horrible job styling the hair, at least hide the bobby pins. I would not be happy if that's how my hair turned out, especially when you can see the pins. Hopefully you got a refund,' one person said.

'It's cute to include small children in the wedding party as flower girls or ring bearers... But don't ask them to do essential things like hair styling,' another joked. 

'You have the makings of a very sturdy bird nest!' Said a third.

The original poster of the photos didn't explain whether she paid for the hairdo or asked for it to be changed.

Meanwhile a few others have taken it upon themselves to share their own wedding day disaster stories - with hairdo's that definitely didn't fulfil their wishes.

One blonde beauty said she was going for the Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill look, but it didn't quite end up looking that way.

While another wanted a side swept braid which looked nothing like the original picture she shared.

Neither woman said how much the styling sessions cost them.
