He jumped nicely when making all the running for an easy win at Leicester last time.

Sedgefield, Huntingdon, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day.

I’m expecting a similar performance from Tom George’s well-weighted novice.

CAP DU NORD (2.40 Sedgefield, nb) has been progressing well over fences.

His Exeter second behind Spring Wolf on New Year’s Day is good form and this looks a nice opportunity for him.

NB – CAP DU NORD, 2.40 Sedgefield: 2nd of eight last time out at exeter and had every chance to win.

TREBLE – CASHEL, 8.25 Chelmsford: Won last time out in the all-weather at Kempton and looks a strong gelding for Micheal Appleby.

CASHEL (8.25 Chelmsford, treble) hasn’t been with Mick Appleby long.

He liked the return to 1m when successful at Kempton last time and he’s got more improvement in him.
