THE Super Bowl’s first ever male cheerleaders took to the field tonight to wow the crowds as the epic clash kicked off in Atlanta.
Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies – who cheer for the LA Rams – made history as they stepped out to drum up support for their team against the New England Patriots.

Never before has the biggest game in American sport seen male cheerleaders.
But they weren’t a lucky charm as the Patriots ran out 13-3 winners at Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Peron said in the pre-game build-up last week: “We are so happy to be here, the smile hasn’t left my face since we arrived.
“We have a lot of people in Los Angeles from different cultures and different backgrounds.
“I think its really important that everyone on the team reflect that, from our boys on the field to the people on the sideline and even our cheer team.”

Peron noted that the pair are not the only ones set to make history for the Rams.
Sean McVay is the youngest head coach in a Super Bowl.
Speaking of the Rams set-up, Peron added: “As an organisation this is exciting”.
Peron, from Rancho Cucamonga, California, was 16 when he started dancing.

He said: “I caught some flack. But if this is what you want to do, then do it because its your life.
“No one can live your life for you.
“Dream your dream, live your truth and if there’s something out there that you want to do, do it.
“Go out there, attack it and get it.”
Jinnies, from Santa Barbara, California, started dancing 12 years ago.
He said last week: “You always have to have thick skin no matter what you’re going for. You just need to go for it.”

Last August, after making their debut, Jinnies revealed his excitement at the pioneering move.
On Twitter, he said: “Still can’t believe I’m one of the first males in history to be a pro NFL cheerleader!
“Everyone’s support and love has been insane! Thank you and GO RAMS!”
No man had auditioned for the team until Jinnies, 28, walked in to see Peron, 26, there.
Jinnies told The Los Angeles Times: “If we can help inspire or motivate someone, it’s all worth it.”
Both men are professional dancers.
