"Many Photos" - Antonio slapped by West Ham team-mate Ogbonna after goal against Liverpool leaving fans in hysterics

MICHAIL ANTONIO struck a huge blow to Liverpool’s title charge – and got a slap in the face in return.

After the Hammers winger’s precise finish brought his side level, he raced into the corner to celebrate in front of the London Stadium fans.

And as his team-mates rushed in to join him, eagle-eyed fans spotted Angelo Ogbonna warming the 28-year-old’s cheeks with a playful slap.

Understandably, the unusual celebration was one of the major talking points on social media as supporters reacted to the hit.

@The_Nifemi said: “I felt the slap Ogbonna gave Antonio!”

While Chris Blunden suggested the slap was deserved after Antonio busted out the Gangnam Style dance half a decade late.

Despite the major decisions going his way, Reds chief Jurgen Klopp insisted the officials has HARMED his side’s chances.

After the 1-1 draw, he told the BBC: “I heard our goal was offside, I’m pretty sure the ref knew that.

“In 50-50 situations it was always a free-kick for the other team, which was hard and did not make life easy.”
