"Many Photos" - Aaron Ramsey to make at least £83.2m over four years at Juventus after signing £400,000-a-week deal

Aaron Ramsey will become Britain's highest-paid player of all-time after signing a staggering £400,000-a-week-plus pre-contract deal at Juventus.

The Italian giants confirmed on Monday the 28-year-old has penned a four-year deal and will join them in the summer when he leaves Arsenal as a free agent.

The humongous figures mean that the Wales international stands to make at least £83.2million during his time in Italy.

Ramsey completed a two-part medical with Juventus last month and will join the club on July 1 - bringing to an end 11 years at Arsenal. 

The Welshman will make the move from Arsenal in the summer, having signed a four-year contract with the Italian champions, tying him to the club until 2023.

Ramsey posted an emotional statement to fans on his Twitter account.

He wrote: 'I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans who have been extremely loyal and supportive. 

'You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I have encountered during my time at the club.

'It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years in north London. Thank you.

He has signed a pre-contract agreement for a four-year deal worth at least £400,000 a week

'I will continue to give the team 100 per cent and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin.' 

As a result of the registration of the player, Juventus will pay an additional cost of €3.7million (£3.24m), to be paid before July 10, 2019. 

Ramsey will become only the third Welshman to pull on the Black & White shirt in the history of Juventus, following the great, John Charles and former European Golden Boot winner, Ian Rush.

Despite his impending exit, the Gunners' No 8 has featured 30 times for them so far this season in all competitions - scoring three goals. 

Overall the midfielder has played 361 times for Arsenal, scoring 62 times to date.

He was won three FA Cups during his time in north London.

Ramsey turned down the offer of a new deal at Arsenal earlier this season. Other clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, were linked with the player.
