Cyclists claim they are losing their place on fitness app leaderboards by e-bike users who are cheating their way to the top.
Users of the Strava app, which tracks and maps rides, said they are being beaten by people who fail to admit they are being helped by a motor, according to The Times.
Trevor Shepherd, 50, an advertising executive, said he was being beaten by times that were 'physically impossible' for a cyclist.

He posted a time of three minutes 30 seconds for a ride in Gisburn Forest in Lancashire.
But he was shocked to discover that a woman had completed it in 90 seconds.
He told The Times: 'I looked at the data and she'd gone up this climb at 15mph. It's physically impossible. But that's around the speed of an e-bike.'
Other signs of that users were on an e-bike, which are electric and fitted with a battery, included a low heart rate and inconsistent top speeds.
Peter Stuart, 30, from Cyclist magazine, told The Times that e-bike users would need 'a bigger power output than Chris Froome' to complete such impressive finish times.
Strava told The Times that most e-bike riders were detected by the app or flagged by other users and that e-bike users had a different leaderboard to cyclists.
