LABOUR activists who blamed Jews for 9/11 and accused Theresa May of plotting the Manchester bombing were allowed to stay in the party, it emerged today.
The two conspiracy theorists are among hundreds of party members who escaped serious punishment despite spreading hateful views online.
Jeremy Corbyn’s office has intervened in more than 100 anti-Semitism complaints, according to the Sunday Times.
And hundreds of activists who were accused of racism still haven’t been permanently kicked out as their cases remain unresolved.
Union official Sian Bloor suggested that “Jewish Israelis” were responsible for the September 11 attacks, and linked Israel to ISIS.
But she was let back in to Labour after being suspended from the party.
Lancashire councillor Pam Bromley suggested the PM could have been behind the Manchester Arena terror attack which killed 22 people in 2017.
She said the bombing, which took place during the General Election campaign, was a “handy excuse to squash Jeremy Corbyn’s growing support”.
A total of 454 anti-Semitism complaints – more than half – remain unresolved, the Sunday Times said.
Labour MP Margaret Hodge, who has suffered anti-Semitic abuse herself, blasted: “The scale of the abuse, the depth of the hatred and the total lack of control is astonishing. The Labour party complaints system is broken.
“Enough is enough. No ifs, no buts. No feeble excuses about how things are better. These leaks show things are worse.”
Shami Chakrabarti, a key ally of Mr Corbyn, admitted that the leader’s office has intervened in disciplinary cases in the past but insisted it is no longer happening.
A Labour spokesman said: “The Labour party takes all complaints of anti-Semitism extremely seriously and we are committed to rooting it out of our party.

“All complaints about anti-Semitism are fully investigated in line with our rules and procedures.
“We can’t comment on individual cases. Lines have been selectively leaked from emails to misrepresent their overall contents.
“One of the emails shows the general secretary’s office ending the practice started by former staffers of asking the leaders’ office for their help with clearing the backlog of cases. This practice lasted for a few weeks while there was no general secretary, and was ended by Jennie Formby.”
