The mums revealed some of their top products, including the Bissell carpet cleaner

The Australian mums revealed the top high end products they loved, from a Dyson vacuum to Bissell carpet cleaner, to cheaper products that are worth paying the import fee from Oz.

Their ingenious tricks included using alternative and eco-friendly washing solutions with ingredients like eucalyptus oil, and even cleaning their kitchens with denture cleaner.

And dozens of other mums agreed, posting in the Facebook group Mums Who Clean to share their love of the same products.

The Bissell Spot Clean

The must-have appliance rated number one by mums is said to be ideal for removing unsightly dirt marks from carpets, furnishings and even the inside of the car.

The Bissell Spot Clean, priced at £84.99 from Argos, uses a combination of heated water, a specially-crafted Bissell cleaning solution and sunction.

One mum wrote: “I bought a spot cleaner and have had it three months. With three kids, it has cleaned so much vomit from my carpets. God, I love it.”

Another agreed, adding: “The spot clean means I can clean my couches every week without hassle so my gorgeous dogs can sit with me without any dirt issues.”

The CrossWave Pet

Setting you back £249, this cleaning appliance isn’t one that comes cheap – however, those who have tried it say it’s well worth the hefty price tag.

One mum declared the CrossWave Pet, available on Amazon, as ‘being worth its weight in gold’ when it came to cleaning the house.

The nifty gadget is designed to vacuum the floor while washing it at the same time – and it works on carpets too, removing stains.

“To say it’s good is an understatement,” a woman wrote. “I live on a farm and being house proud is a struggle with all the mud – but this keeps up fine and every time the result is overwhelming.”

While the glove is ideal for kitchen surfaces, the companies fibre mop cloth, costing £49 was also mentioned as being the perfect implement to clean tiled floors.

Another added: “The suction power is amazing, especially on the V10 – and it’s easy to use. I wish I’d bought it sooner for when my kids were little.”

The cordless Dyson Cyclone V10 Vacuum, which works on both hard floors and soft carpets, is priced at £449 from the Dyson online store.

One mum used the mix on her sofa, saying: “It has come out great. Our sofa is about five or six years old and this is the first time we’ve cleaned it.”
