CLEANING lovers will tell you that the secret to whipping the house into shape in no time isn’t just down to technique, it’s knowing the difference between the good and bad products.
And these mums have made it a little easier for us novices, taking to social media to name the selection of appliances they swear by to get any household chore done in no time.
The Australian mums revealed the top high end products they loved, from a Dyson vacuum to Bissell carpet cleaner, to cheaper products that are worth paying the import fee from Oz.
Their ingenious tricks included using alternative and eco-friendly washing solutions with ingredients like eucalyptus oil, and even cleaning their kitchens with denture cleaner.
And dozens of other mums agreed, posting in the Facebook group Mums Who Clean to share their love of the same products.

The Bissell Spot Clean
The must-have appliance rated number one by mums is said to be ideal for removing unsightly dirt marks from carpets, furnishings and even the inside of the car.
The Bissell Spot Clean, priced at £84.99 from Argos, uses a combination of heated water, a specially-crafted Bissell cleaning solution and sunction.
One mum wrote: “I bought a spot cleaner and have had it three months. With three kids, it has cleaned so much vomit from my carpets. God, I love it.”
Another agreed, adding: “The spot clean means I can clean my couches every week without hassle so my gorgeous dogs can sit with me without any dirt issues.”

The CrossWave Pet
Setting you back £249, this cleaning appliance isn’t one that comes cheap – however, those who have tried it say it’s well worth the hefty price tag.
One mum declared the CrossWave Pet, available on Amazon, as ‘being worth its weight in gold’ when it came to cleaning the house.
The nifty gadget is designed to vacuum the floor while washing it at the same time – and it works on carpets too, removing stains.
“To say it’s good is an understatement,” a woman wrote. “I live on a farm and being house proud is a struggle with all the mud – but this keeps up fine and every time the result is overwhelming.”

The Enjo Cleaning Glove
Given the tick of approval by mothers who appreciate a hardworking product, this micro-fibre glove comes cheap too, priced at £29.
And the Facebook mum’s will tell you it’s worth it – as the Cleaning Glove is completely non-hazardous, regarding only water to work so you can throw out those harsh chemicals.
While the glove is ideal for kitchen surfaces, the companies fibre mop cloth, costing £49 was also mentioned as being the perfect implement to clean tiled floors.
“It leaves everything shining,” one mum wrote. “And in the long run it saves on the cost of buying cleaning products.”

Dyson’s Stick Vacuum Cleaner
While Dyson products tend to be very expensive, those who have used the range of stick vacuums claim that they are worth every penny.
“The Dyson is the best £500 I’ve ever spent,” one mum wrote. “It’s revolutionary when it comes to cleaning – collecting up dirt faster than kids can even make it.”
Another added: “The suction power is amazing, especially on the V10 – and it’s easy to use. I wish I’d bought it sooner for when my kids were little.”
The cordless Dyson Cyclone V10 Vacuum, which works on both hard floors and soft carpets, is priced at £449 from the Dyson online store.

Sabco Microfibre Mop
Those wanting an easy way to deal with dirty floors and spills need look no further, as the Australian mum’s claim to have found a solution.
They were all keen to show off how they’d used their Sabco SuperSwich Spray Mop, priced at £18 from Homebase – including transforming wooden hallways and tiled kitchens.
One mum said: “The Sabco has revolutionised my world. It brings up every surface really shiny with even minimal cleaning product.”
The company sells replacement mop covers from £7, so you can keep up your favourite new cleaning habit without breaking the bank.

Polident Denture Cleaner
While it might sound outrageous, mums are revealing that denture cleaner is the perfect product to remove dirt and grime without strong chemicals.
The product, which is available on Amazon and priced at £16.94 for a back of 204 tablets, can be mixed with warm water to create a cleaning solution.
One mum used the mix on her sofa, saying: “It has come out great. Our sofa is about five or six years old and this is the first time we’ve cleaned it.”
She added that all cleaning mums need is a bit of their own elbow grease to scrub out the dirt.

Eucalyptus Solution Cleaner
As far as alternative cleaning solutions go, these mums rave about Eucalyptus solution mixed with a squeeze or your favourite dish washing liquid.
But while this specialist product is the only one you’ll have to import from Oz – the women of Mums Who Clean think it’s well worth it.
“I cleaned my whole flat using this and it left it looking and smelling great,” one wrote.
