The co-production between Mexico and the US tells the story of a live-in housekeeper to a middle-class family.


It is a semi-autobiographical take on Cuaron’s upbringing in Mexico City.


Roma has been nominated for 10 Oscars for the 91st Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Directed and written by Peter Farrelly, it’s been nominated for five Academy Award nominations in total.

It sees Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz, and Emma Stone carry the breathtaking period comedy-drama.


Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, it tells the tale of Queen Anne and two cousins’ rivalry in being Her Majesty’s favourite.


The film has bagged itself five Oscar nominations and fans can’t wait to see how many of those it will take home.

BlackKklansman tells the tale of an undercover cop who becomes the first black member of the Ku Klux Klan.


The Spike Lee movie is based on the 2014 memoir Black Klansman: Race, Hate And The Undercover Investigation Of A Lifetime by Ron Stallworth, from his time at the Colorado Springs Intelligence Unit in 1978.


It has been nominated for an Oscar in six categories this year.

Black Panther transported us into the hidden kingdom of Wakanda which houses cutting edge technology, breathtaking views, and jaw-dropping style.


Starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o, the movie was deemed as a breakthrough in diversity and representation.


It is the first ever superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture in Oscar history.


Apart from Best Picture, the film has been nominated in six more categories.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a biographical drama film written by Anthony McCarten.

It starts from the formation of the group and runs until their performance at Live Aid in 1985, six years before Freddie Mercury‘s death.


Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are serving as the film’s music producers.


The critically acclaimed film has been nominated in five categories.

Vice sees Christian Bale play Dick Cheney

The biographical comedy plots Dick Cheney (Bale) in his political rise to becoming the most powerful Vice President in America’s history.


It also stars Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush, Steve Carell as Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld, and Amy Adams as Dick’s wife Lynne Cheney.


The film is directed by Adam McKay, who last helmed 2015’s Oscar-winning The Big Short, that also starred Christian Bale and Steve Carell.


It has received eight Academy Award nominations.
