WAGAMAMA has launched its first full English vegan breakfast to cater for faddy food trends.
The restaurant — best known for noodles and katsu curry — will be adding a beetroot and seitan sausage to its new dish.
Eggs are replaced by scrambled turmeric tofu and the maple ‘bacon’ is also made with seitan which comes from wheat gluten.
The creation has grilled tomato, wilted spinach, sauteed sweet potato and shiitake mushrooms.
It comes after Greggs launched meat-free sausage rolls recently.
