I’ve been both wondering about the story behind this awesome photo for a while…and I’ve finally tracked it down.
When you pull back, it’s easy to see that it’s from an airshow.
It’s from the South Carolina National Guard while demonstrating their abilities of air and ground assets during the South Carolina Air and Ground Expo at McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, South Carolina.
Ok, pyrotechnics. That makes sense.
The cool part is, the BOOM was also videoed from 2 locations.
Master Sgt. Caycee Watson and Senior Master Sgt. Edward Snyder of South Carolina National Guard got the distance shot.
And Staff Sgt. Erica Knight got the money video from a medium, head-on distance.
The short vid is 5-minutes long and the other is from over an hour of B-Roll…so, I’m cutting it up for a 1-minute video WITH the big sound from the multiple BOOMs.
