New photo Saturday’s London weather forecast — a cold start to the weekend with clear skies and a touch of frost

LONDONERS can expect a cold Saturday as we push further into winter in the capital.

There will be generally clear skies and the chance of frost in the southwest. Elsewhere there will be some patches of cloud.

London weather forecast for 6am on Saturday

It will be a bright and frosty start to the day in the capital, as it remains dry and sky is largely clear.

This will not only cause some frost but some patches of fog.

Do not rule out the chance of a few spots of drizzle as they are possible – although generally it will remain dry.

The maximum temperature across London and the south east will be 6 °C.

London weather forecast for 12pm on Saturday

UK outlook for Wednesday 9 Jan 2019 to Friday 18 Jan 2019

Western and northwestern areas will be dry on Wednesday and we will see long sunny spells despite the cold and frosty start.

Towards the east there will be a few showers and a higher chance of wind and gales across the coast.

The week will be relatively settled, there will be light winds and the likelihood of overnight frost and fog.

The northwest will see more cloud and outbreaks of rain than elsewhere across the UK, there may also be stronger winds and the risk of some snow.

UK outlook for Saturday 19 Jan 2019 to Saturday 2 Feb 2019

The majority of the country will see predominately wet and windy weather throughout this time, with a chance of heavy rain and gales.

There is the possibility of snow in the north and in more hilly areas, whereas in the south it is set to be drier with some brighter patches.

The temperature will vary between cold and mild with an increased amount of overnight frost settling on the ground.

As January draws to a close it is likely that the temperature will drop significantly bringing an enhanced risk of frost, fog and snow.
