MARIO Falcone has angrily hit out at critics of his decisions as a father in an epic rant on social media.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Mario, 30, recently welcomed his baby son Parker to the world with partner Becky Miesner.
But a picture he shared on his Instagram page recently irritated some of his followers as he was seen drinking while bathing Parker in the snap.
The reality star cheerfully captioned the photo earlier this week: “Bubbles for us and bubbles for Parker! Seeing in the new year with my little family… Happy new year everyone.”
However, one of the hunky chap’s former fans was less than impressed with the picture, with them criticising Mario for drinking alcohol around his child in a comment which has since been deleted.
Taking exception to the social media user’s words, Mario hit back: “Yeah because half a glass of champagne will get me well wasted you silly little twerp.”
And Mario has now hit out at his naysayers in his Instagram Stories, saying: “So I wanted to talk about something that really confuses me on social media and that’s this whole nature of when a parent posts a picture of their child, other parents think it’s their right to then criticise the way in which that parent is bringing up their child, write a negative comment.
“It really confuses me because I scroll through my timeline all the time and there’s pictures of people with their babies and I think, ‘Hmmm, that’s not what I would do,’ but then I don’t think, ‘Do you know what? I’m going to comment, I’m going to bring that person down and make them feel bad about the way in which they’re raising their child.’
“Because as a parent, especially a new first time parent, I understand how hard it is and you’re learning as you go along so I wouldn’t want to bring another person down who is in the same scenario.
“It really confuses me because obviously as parents we’re all doing our best to raise our children; we want what’s best for out children.
“So, I think personally, wind your necks in and focus on your own children.
“Me, I love my son, I love my niece and I love my nephews. Other than that, your child’s your child, you do what you’ve got to do.
“It doesn’t concern me unless you’re doing some mad s**t like this,” after he which be posted a picture of the late Michael Jackson previously dangling his baby Blanket out over a balcony at a hotel in Berlin in 2002.
Mario continued: “Then I am probably going to say something but other than that, you’re fine. You are not going to hear any criticism from me.
“So, I guess what I’m trying to say is, look, if you comment something negative on a picture about the way me and Becky are raising our son Parker, I’m just going to block you because you are a t**t.
“It’s the best way of putting it. So, just wind your necks in and focus on your own children.
“It’s only been a few people, the majority of you have been really nice but it’s something that I keep seeing, it’s something that I really don’t agree with.
“And to those who can relate to what I’m talking about, keep doing your thing, keep being a parent, you know what’s best for your child and f**k the people that think they know better than you, because they don’t.”
Not all viewers of Mario’s picture were critical of the television personality with many standing up for him.
One person commented: “There is always one a**hole isn’t there! You just can’t see it for what it is, a new little family creating a beautiful memory of they’re first New Year together.”
After Mario posted his Instagram Story, one follower wrote on Twitter: “@MarioFalcone’s Instagram story is spot on. Everyone has different ways of bringing up a child which adapts to both parent and baby, parents are also learning along the way!
“We need to do less criticising and more praising.”
