THE company set up by Madeleine McCann’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann to fund the search for her has received a £100,000 boost.
The funding boost camp from royalties from Kate’s book “Finding Madeleine – Leaving No Stone Unturned, The Mirror reported.
The book has more than £800,000 in assets and made nearly £100,000 in the past year.
The company, Find Madeleine…, had recorded losses over the past years as donations decreased.
Proceeds from Kate’s book have helped the fund swell to £823,332 after the mum donated £84,096 in royalties.
The former GP wrote the book in 2011 to raise money for the search and it is still a best-seller.
Find Madeleine was set up by 2007 to help manage the public money that was flooding in.
In 2018, the figure was up by nearly £100,000 compared to 2017.
Madeleine went missing from an apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007, aged three.
It comes after cops were given an extra £150,000 boost of funding to continue the search.
The Home Office gave Scotland Yard another six months’ worth of funding in November.
Scotland Yard’s investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance has so far cost £11.75million.

Maddie’s parents have never given up hope their daughter is still alive.
Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said in November: “They are very encouraged that the Met Police still believe there is work left to be done in the search for their daughter and they remain incredibly grateful to the Home Office for providing an extra budget for the investigation.
“Beyond this they cannot comment on the ongoing operation.”
