CHELSEA are yet to decide who will replace Cesc Fabregas despite having deals agreed for both Nicolo Barella AND Leandro Paredes, according to reports.
Fabregas departed for Monaco to reunite with former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry but the Blues are still deliberating over who will replace the Spaniard.

The West-Londoners have deals in place for Cagliari’s Barella and Zenit St Petersburg’s Paredes but are holding fire while they decide whether they need them at the club, report The Telegraph.
With Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid as well as Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Jorginho on the books, they are carefully considering their options before splurging on another midfielder.
The deal to take Fabregas to Monaco took slightly longer than expected but the former Arsenal man finally agreed the deal and said an emotional goodbye to English football with a penalty miss in Chelsea‘s FA cup victory over Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
If the Blues do decide to replace the Spanish star, Paredes and Barella are first in the queue.

Paredes has made nine appearances for Argentina after making his debut in 2017 and the midfielder had spells with Boca Juniors and AS Roma before moving to Russia in July of the same year.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals in 15 appearances for Zenit this season having also featured in the Europa League.
Chelsea’s other option Barella is a product of the Cagliari youth academy and other than a brief loan spell at Como has been at the Italian club since 2013.
He has managed only one goal from eighteen appearances this season but the 21-year-old already has four caps for Italy having been part of the international setup since from under-15 level.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will be aware of both players from his time in Italy which will obviously have played a part in the decision to agree deals with the pair.
Fabregas could also see former Chelsea team-mate Michy Batshuayi join him at Monaco after Valencia cut short the Belgian’s loan at the club.
Batshuayi worked with Monaco boss Henry at last summer’s World Cup in Russia and played with Fabregas during his time with the Blues.
Everton and Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in signing the 25-year-old Belgian but Henry was quick to make his interest clear.
He said: “We have worked together with Belgium. We will see what happens. But he could be an interesting player. For sure.”
