N’GOLO KANTE proved yet again he is the world’s nicest footballer – by deliberately not giving his team-mates a sore a***.
The popular Frenchman, 28, had the chance to leather the ball at the backsides of his Chelsea pals in the classic playground forfeit.
But he somehow managed to pick out the only gap between them so they could all walk away unharmed.
Olivier Giroud, youth-teamer Richard Nartey, Eden Hazard, Danny Drinkwater, Emerson, Willy Caballero and Davide Zappacosta lined up in the goal waiting to be whacked.
Centre-backs Andreas Christensen and then Gary Cahill both struck their efforts too high and into the top of the goal.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek stepped up next and appeared to get Nartey on the back of the leg before Kante stepped up.
But after a six-stride run-up, the diminutive midfielder struck a fierce strike… into the back of the net in emphatic style.
Some may try and argue he simply tried to hit them and missed – but Kante has a track record of being lovely, so we reckon it was deliberate.
‘TOO NICE’
Chelsea put the video out on their Instagram page and wrote: “@nglkante is just too nice!”
One user joked: “If Higuain had shot it would have landed in my back garden.”
Of course, Kante already held the nicest footballer belt for his long list of just genuinely lovely, kind, good things he has done since arriving in English football with Leicester in 2015.
As one of the most down-to-earth footballers in the Premier League, he drives a Mini Cooper to training – nothing especially flash or excessive.
Kante missed a Eurostar train back to Paris after a Prem win and then looked for a nearby mosque to attend evening prayer.
Afterwards, he was invited back to an Arsenal fan’s house for dinner… and gladly accepted the invite, ate curry, played Fifa and watched himself on Match of the Day.

As well as refusing to transfer money to avoid paying tax and apologising to a Gunners fan after helping Chelsea beat the Gunners, Kante showed his true colours once again during the World Cup last summer.
Despite being one of the key members of Didier Deschamps’ squad, Kante refused to take the limelight and was too modest to get his hands on the famous trophy – until his team-mates finally persuaded him.
