A MARRIED teacher spent lunch breaks engaging in sexual acts with a 13-year-old pupil she nicknamed “Babe”, a court heard.
The boy said Justine Nelson, 33, had oral sex with him dozens of times after locking the classroom door.
The lad, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told a sex abuse trial: “She was the cool teacher that everyone liked.
“If you had a bad day you could talk to her.”
The boy said his two-month relationship with Nelson at Tenaya Middle School, Fresno, California, started with texts.
He said: “She texted I was cute and wanted me to kiss her.
“I was shocked. I didn’t know what to do.”
He and Nelson first became intimate when he was 13, he said.

Between second and third period they allegedly had oral sex, the student claims.
He recalled: “We started kissing and she pulled my pants down.”
The pair would allegedly spend their lunch together in her classroom with the door locked.
She even covered for him when he was late for lessons after they had sex, he added.
He said: “I was late to class so she wrote me a pass.”
Nelson’s pet names for him included “boo, honey and babe,” according to a Instagram messages between the two.

And she repeatedly reminded him: “Oh god, don’t tell anyone we talk,” said prosecutor Liz Owen.
The jury was shown a photograph she sent the boy showing her posing with an open shirt with her breasts exposed.
He initially told police Nelson gave him oral sex once before his 14th birthday and then at least twice after that.
But in an interview with a District Attorney’s office investigator he said it was significantly higher, the hearing heard.
Nelson’s lawyer Roger Nuttall said the student could not be trusted.
Detective Sylvia Martinez said Nelson initially accused the teenager of forcing himself on her.
But she changed her story and admitted having a sexual relationship with the him and sending semi-nude photos of herself, the officer said.
She said Nelson told her the boy threatened to confirm rumours in the school about their romps unless she gave him oral sex.

Fellow teacher Grant Pullen said he complained to school bosses about Nelson’s lack of professionalism and not setting boundaries between herself and students.
Youngsters would be late to his class because they were hanging out in Nelson’s during her free period.
Nelson is charged with lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and oral copulation which she denies.
She could face up to 14 years in jail if prosecutors prove the relationship with the boy started when he was 13.
The trial continues next week.
