A TEENAGE boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found stabbed at a house in south Manchester yesterday.
The 20-year-old victim, named locally as Tyrelle Burke, was discovered after police were called to an address in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, at around 8.45am on Friday.
He was rushed to hospital with stab wounds but later died.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in custody, Greater Manchester Police said.
Heartbroken pals described Tyrelle as “warm-hearted” – while Shipwrecked star Liv Leilani posted a photo tribute online.
Caitlin Robinson, who went to school with Tyrelle, told the Manchester Evening News: “He was known by a lot of people.
“He was the most warm-hearted person ever.
“I can speak for everyone when I say he might be gone, but he’ll never be forgotten. It’s so sad.”

Friend Adam Bates said: “I used to play football with him as kids and manhunt around the estate.
“It’s taken a while to sink in. We didn’t really speak much any more. He didn’t deserve this. Rest easy, Tyrelle.”
Other tributes flooded social media, with Chloe Nash writing: “Can’t believe what I’m hearing. RIP, Tyrelle. Taken far too soon in one of the cruellest ways. Rest easy.”
Kasie Hunter said: “So sad, RIP Tyrelle. Thoughts are with family.”
And Emily Pitt posted: “Not what I wanted to hear. RIP, Tyrelle.”
POLICE APPEAL
Detective Chief Inspector Carl Jones said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this unimaginably difficult time and we are committed to giving them the answers they deserve.
“We have arrested one person in connection with this murder and are appealing for the public to come forward with any information they might have.
“Were you in the vicinity of Crossacres Road at around 8.30am on Friday 5 April? Did you see anything suspicious or have any information that can assist us? If so, get in touch with us immediately.”
The force has urged anyone with any information to contact police on 0161 856 0039 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
KNIFE CRIME EPIDEMIC
Meanwhile, a man was stabbed outside a packed train station in London on Friday afternoon.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital after the broad daylight attack outside Ilford station in East London at around 3.30pm.
The stabbing is the latest amid a spate violence gripping the country as the knife crime epidemic continues.
At least 48 people have been stabbed to death in the UK since the start of the year.
On Wednesday, a man believed to be in his mid-40s was killed in a “machete attack” in Harrow, North West London.
And on March 24, newsagent Ravi Katharkamar was stabbed in the chest while opening his Pinner shop, and died 45 minutes later.

At the end of March the Home Secretary Sajid Javid voweed to give police all the backing they needed to curb the knife crime epidemic.
