A student on Channel 4's Countdown is continuing to wow viewers as he solves conundrums on the show, but viewers are also starting to feel sorry for his opponents.
Elliott Mellor, from Oldham, believed to be his early 20s, is a maths student at Manchester Met university, and he's been beating other contestants for over a week.
Today he was up against Monica, but he beat her to every answer but one, leaving her with a score of 10 and him with 126.
Last Friday he beat the top score of 150 - set in January this year by getting a score of 152.
Twitter fans, and even the presenters on the show felt sorry for Monica, cheering for her when she got one maths equation right. While one Twitter fan said 'Monica is getting rinsed.'

Poor Monica was always behind him with five or six letter words and when she did think she had an eight letter word they told her she had spelt it wrong.
Elliott has got every maths conundrum right, getting 338 in the first round, while Monica could only get to 333 in her workings out.

Countdown has been running for nearly 37 years and sees two contestants compete against each other on word and number tasks.
In today's show, he solved the final conundrum 'MEANSWEAR' after about ten seconds, with presenter Nick Hewer joking: 'That was slower than normal,' and then said: 'Terrific performance there very good Elliott.'
While Jon Culshaw added: 'Extraordinary – the speed of cognitive thought is really is quite amazing.'

Fans of the show took to social media yesterday praising the young student, with one saying: 'Yet another consummate performance - another 2 second conundrum...all aboard the Elliott Wagon.'
While another one joked: 'Just watched #countdown which I haven't seen in ages, very lucky to have seen young Elliott in his prime.'
Some even questioned where he was from, joking: 'Is this Elliott even human? He's on a different planet to anyone I've ever seen on the program. His opponent is looking crushed! 143-10! Unreal!'
During his debut on the show on Thursday 16 May, he got the highest ever debut score in the show with 131, with words such as Taiapure and Neoterism, wiping the floor with his opponent who only picked up scores in the four numbers rounds.

Last Friday he got the highest ever score on the show in its current format - 152, topping a score which had been set just four months ago, with three nine-letter words securing his win.
Yesterdays show wasn't any different, when he looked relaxed as he beat the other contestant Kieran Matley in a 143 - 10 defeat.
It was another record, as the previous record for points difference between winner and loser was 21, compared with his massive 133-point margin.

Even host Nick Hewer seemed impressed after he spelt out one word effortlessly saying: 'Wow, strong.'
Elliott now also holds the record for the first consecutive hat trick of scores over 130.
Elliott impressed everyone by picking out the word mutator, meaning that which causes mutation or change, and scoring eight points
While his opponent was unable to find a word, Elliott had no trouble in picking out seven letters to spell mutator
Other fans of the show simply said: 'It's Elliott time' and 'This lad Elliott on countdown is seriously clever'.
Countdown was initially presented by Richard Whiteley, until his sudden death in 2005. he was replaced by various presenter until Nick Hewer, former Apprentice star took over in 2012.
Rachel Riley also replaced mathematician Carol Voderman when she left the Channel 4 show in 2008.
