YOUTUBE have clamped down on far-right hot-head Tommy Robinson and stopped him live-streaming – but have not banned him outright.
The restrictions will mean Robinson’s new videos won’t have view counts, suggested videos, likes or comments.
YouTube is also removing the English Defence League founder’s videos from search results.
There will also be an “interstitial” or black slate that appears before each video warning people that it might not be appropriate for all audiences.
Robinson will also be prevented from live-streaming onto his channel, where he has nearly 390,000 YouTube subscribers.
Last month YouTube had defended its decision to keep Robinson’s content on its site – arguing that it was fundamentally different from the posts that led Facebook and Instagram to delete his account.
In February Robinson was permanently banned from Facebook and Instagram for spouting hate speech.
The far-right founder of the English Defence League was booted from the social media sites for “repeatedly” breaking their standards on “organised hate”.
Facebook confirmed Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, had violated their standards on supporting or appearing to support organised hate groups on his page where he had amassed more than one million followers.
The social media giant said Robinson’s page had “repeatedly broken these standards, posting material that uses dehumanising language and calls for violence targeted at Muslims”.

He was banned from Twitter in March 2018 and removed from PayPal in November.
He was sentenced to 13 months in prison for contempt of court in May 2018 for streaming a video outside Leeds Crown Court.
This was challenged and he was released on bail in August.
