I don’t give a fuck about Meghan Trainor’s career. I am only aware of one song of she ever made, and if I had to take a guess, I’d imagine most people who come on here don’t give a shit either (though if you do, no judgment from me).
Which should really tell you something, mainly that when I saw this, I felt like I had to make a post about it, mostly because I actually seriously considered “copywriting” (the people who write press releases) as a career at one point, and seeing this made me eternally grateful to be working at The Chive doing… Anything but what you’re about to see.

I can’t remember the last time I read something so pandering to the “youth” that was actually real and not a great parody on The Simpsons. This press release got attention through a Tweet from a user by the name of @WizzKhaleesi, so shoutout to her for exposing me to this nightmare?
At the very least, Twitter had a field day with it.
I guess the moral of the story is that… Fuck it, we’re just going to put this in here again and call it a day:
