"Many Photos" - Tory MP Ross Thomson is caught up in police call out to Commons bar after 'sexual touching' claims

A Scottish Tory MP has been caught up in a police call out to a Westminster bar over an allegation of 'sexual touching'. 

Ross Thomson, MP for Aberdeen South and one of 12 Scottish Tories elected to the Commons in 2017, was spoken to by police along with two other men aged in their 20s and 30s.

The Met Police confirmed they responded to reports in Strangers Bar, inside the Palace of Westminster, at 11pm on Tuesday night but said no formal allegations had been made.

MailOnline has approached Mr Thomson for comment.

Scotland Yard said today: 'Officers attended and spoke to the parties involved - three men in their 20s and 30s. 

'However, no formal allegations were made to the officers and no arrests were made.'

A spokesman for the Scottish Tories said:  'We are aware of reports of an incident last night in the Strangers Bar. It's being looked into by the party.'
