KELLY Brook has confessed she was relieved to get “lifeline” on the radio and another shot at fame.
The model, who shot to fame on The Big Breakfast in the nineties, felt her time in the spotlight was up, before her dream job came along.

The model and presenter, 39, who bagged a role as a presenter on Heart radio, told Hello! mag: “It’s been really lovely because I feel like I have been given another lifeline.
“You think: ‘Oh, that’s it, maybe I had my go and it’s someone else’s turn.’ When an opportunity like this comes along, all of a sudden you’ve got another shot.”
She said she has landed the “dream job” and has given her “a new lease of life”.
Kelly shot to fame in her late teens when she took over from Denise Van Outen to co-host high profile morning show The Big Breakfast, alongside Johnny Vaughan.
She has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Juice, and had a successful modelling career.
Her movies included School for Seduction, Piranha 3D and Survival Island in 2005, where she got together with co-star Billy Zane.
Before Titanic star Billy, she famously dated Hollywood bad-boy Jason Statham, rugby player Danny Cipriani as well as reality TV star David McIntosh.

Kelly has been dating French-Italian hunk Jeremy Parisi for over three years.
Her love-life and her work life seem to be back on track after she bagged the drivetime show on Heart.
She said: “I think it’s given me a new lease of life. To be doing something I love, making people feel good, is just the best. It’s the best job I could ever want. I never want it to end.”
