"Many Photos" - Four Weddings And A Funeral cast reunite for Red Nose Day special in first official pics

THE cast of Four Weddings And A Funeral have reunited for Red Nose Day for the first time in 25 years.

The hugely popular rom-com starring Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell will return for a FIFTH wedding in a one-off special next month.

It’s all in aid of Comic Relief and today the first official pictures were released showing the cast a quarter of a century on from when the film came out.

The new short film will feature all of the original cast including Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, Rowan Atkinson, James Fleet, David Haig, Sophie Thompson, David Bower, Robin McCaffrey, Anna Chancellor, Rupert Vansittart, Simon Kunz, Sara Crowe and Timothy Walker.

Sadly, Charlotte Coleman who played the Scarlett passed away aged 33 in 2001 of an acute asthma attack.

There will even be some guest appearances from Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid and actress Lily James who is playing Hugh Grant’s daughter.

He’s expected to give her away at her wedding surrounded by his old pals.

Writer and producer Richard Curtis said: “We’re all definitely older – I suspect no wiser.

“It’s been really enjoyable working out what’s happened to all the characters.

“And now they get back together for the 5th wedding. Where, as usual, not everything will go as planned.”

The short film, which will be called One Red Nose Day And A Wedding, will be shown on Friday March 15.

The one-off special follows the success of 2017’s Red Nose Day Actually based on 2003’s international hit film Love Actually.
