"Many Photos" - Dillian Whyte snubs Joshua as he reveals the next three opponents he wants to face

DILLIAN WHYTE appears to have given up on getting his rematch against Anthony Joshua – for now.

But the Brixton heavyweight isn’t prepared to kick his heels, and has talked up three boxers he wants to face.

Whyte has also spoke of his anger that promoter Eddie Hearn and Joshua didn’t make enough time for him to accept terms for a rematch.

Dominic Breazale, Alexander Povetkin and Luis Ortiz are on Whyte’s hit-list – with the ultimate aim being a shot against Deontay Wilder for the WBC title.

That will all depend, down the line, if the American still holds that strap, as negotiations are continuing for an eagerly-anticipated rematch against Tyson Fury.

Breazeale and Povetkin have both lost to reigning WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO champ Joshua, while Ortiz has just one loss on his record – against Wilder.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Whyte said: “We tried to make the AJ fight two to three months ago but had no discussions until January 1.

“Then [we had] a meeting with Eddie on January 14, which didn’t leave enough time, we need more time.

I have been trying [for AJ]. Last December when he came to the ring would have been perfect.

“If we had been speaking in December, there would have been a fight.

“They came on January 14 with a low offer, if they had given me a fair crack of the whip we would have had a fight.”

But rather than let anger and frustration win the day, Whyte appears more determined than ever to get that world title shot.

He added: “We are looking at Brezeale who is the mandatory even though I am No1 ranked, which makes no sense.

“If we can get him in the ring and beat him, Wilder will have to stop hiding and fight me.

“I have to keep fighting, it’s dangerous but I have to be busy fighting and impressing the fans.

“I Want Breazeale, Povetkin and Ortiz.”I think there is me, Wilder Joshua and Fury then the guys just underneath.

“[I’m] aiming for Breazeale, then Povetkin and then Ortiz.”

Dillian Whyte ended his feud with Dereck Chisora in some style with an 11th-round KO in December

Last time out Whyte settled his ongoing feud with Dereck Chisora in a rematch, with a brutal 11th-round KO of his fellow Brit.

He won their first battle with a contentious split points decision.

Joshua, meanwhile, defeated 39-year-old Povetkin back in September at Wembley with a seventh-round KO.

He now looks set to face relative unknown Jarrell Miller over in New York in June.
