HARRY Styles is ready to give up touring for acting — dashing hopes of a One Direction reunion.

Friends say Harry, who has already made an acclaimed Hollywood debut in Dunkirk, is reluctant to reform the band.

And he has taken the first steps of striking his Erskine Touring Company off the register at Companies House. It is due to officially fold later this year.

After Dunkirk, Harry, 24, signed up as an executive producer on Happy Together. The US sitcom, shown on E4, is based on his own life.

A pal said: “Since stepping away from 1D Harry has really enjoyed life outside that pop bubble.

“Acting is something he really enjoys and he’s been working behind the camera on a number of different projects. Harry has a base in LA and is ensconced with James Corden and his producer Ben Winston there.

So the likelihood of getting back on the road with 1D is slim.

“And right now he has absolutely no desire to get 1D back together.”

Harry, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik got together on the X Factor in 2010.

Zayn quit five years later and in January 2016 the remaining four ann- ounced they would take a hiatus.
