START THE CAR

ARSENAL are set to make a bid for Yannick Carrasco after holding positive talks with the Belgian’s representatives.

The former Atletico Madrid star plays for Dalian Yifang in China but is keen for a move back to Europe.

RAMGO

AARON RAMSEY’s summer switch to Juventus could be announced as early as next week, according to reports.

The Welsh midfielder is on the brink of signing a five-year, £200,000-a-week deal with the Serie A side.

COMEBACK KIDS

MESUT OZIL and Hector Bellerin are among six first-team stars to return to training ahead of their clash against West Ham.

Laurent Koscielny is another Gunners boost after injuring his back just before the Blackpool FA Cup tie, while Konstantinos Mavropanos, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi have also returned.

KIDS ARE ALRIGHT

UNAI EMERY will not look to loan out Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah this month as he plans to use them for the rest of the season.

The Gunners youngsters have featured heavily in the FA Cup and Europa League – and look set for more time in the senior side despite tougher opposition coming up.

REAL DEAL

ARSENAL have activated a clause to extend Nacho Monreal’s  contract to June 2020.

The Spaniard would have been a free agent in the summer – but despite his injury problems, the 32-year-old will remain at the club next season.

‘COWARDS’

GUNNERS fans have called out Tottenham following their latest stadium set-back.

Spurs have revealed their new arena will not be ready until March – and Emirates supporters believe they are scared Arsenal will beat them in historic opener.

HEC OF A PLAYER

ARSENAL can begin talks with Hector Herrera as they target a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.

However, it could hit a snag as the Mexican wants a huge pay packet.

STADIUM TROUBLE

ARSENAL could be among the first to take to the pitch at Tottenham’s new stadium after delays mean it will not be available until March.

Spurs have had to push back their opening date once again – but there remains the possibility of hosting the North London derby on March 2 at the 62,062-seater arena.

BRAZ-OURS

MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal are preparing to be involved in a bidding war for a young Brazilian goalkeeper, according to reports.

Gabriel Brazao is hotly tipped to follow in the footsteps of his countrymen Ederson at Manchester City and Alisson at Liverpool as the next South American star ‘keeper in the Premier League.

GUNNER HAVE TO WAIT

ARSENAL are set to resist the temptation to splash out during this month’s transfer window – but plan to spend big in the summer.

Unai Emery made five signings when he took charge in the summer and has admitted he would like to add at least two fresh faces to his squad.

YANN THE MAN

ARSENAL are believed to be leading the race to nab Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang as Unai Emery looks to sign a winger.

The Gunners boss has made no secret of his desire to bring in new recruits this month, and could look to the ex-Atletico Madrid forward to add pace and width to his squad.

AU BOUT THAT?

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG has admitted he was “s***” in the game against Liverpool after being named Arsenal’s Player of the Month.

The Gunners forward, 29, struck five goals in December including one as he led his side to a big win over Tottenham.

IT’S A KNOCKOUT

MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal will both fear FA Cup elimination thanks to an incredible head-to-head stat after they were drawn against each other.

United beat Reading and the Gunners toppled Blackpool at the weekend to put their names in the hat for last night’s fourth round draw.
