PADDY and Christine McGuinness have let cameras into their home for the first time.
We can reveal the couple have started filming a new three-part fly-on-the wall series after signing a big-money deal with ITV2 last month.
The decision to allow cameras to follow their every move comes less than a month after The Sun revealed they had argued over Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Christine’s flourishing telly career.
But sources reveal Take Me Out host Paddy has only agreed to put their relationship on the small screen because the programmes will focus on a subject very close to their hearts — autism.
The pair have previously spoken of the problems they have faced after their five-year-old twins, Leo and Penelope, were diagnosed with the disorder.
And it’s understood that Paddy and Christine will open up about the strain it has put on their marriage. A source said: “It’s a huge thing for them to put their relationship in the spotlight — especially because of the recent marital troubles.
“But their desire to raise awareness of autism has overridden any concerns and this is the strongest sign yet they have managed to put things back on track.
“They want to show that while they lead a glamorous lifestyle, their family is at the heart of everything they do and this is a continuation to raise awareness of the challenges that can be faced when raising autistic children.
“At times they find things tough and they want to show they are just like any other parents and there are constant ups and downs.”
Last month Christine revealed she had been reduced to tears after a woman complained about Leo and Penelope being “noisy” at a play centre.
The reality star, who is also mum to two-year-old Felicity with Paddy, told fans online: “She complained about the noises they were making. She said there must be something wrong with those children. It broke my heart.
“They were happy, they were squealing and laughing and being loud. My kids don’t like noise, but they usually are the loudest in the room. But let them enjoy themselves.”
Earlier this year Paddy — who rocked his marriage when he was pictured walking arm-in-arm with Nicole Appleton in February — broke down in tears while speaking to fellow comedian John Bishop on his TV chatshow about the twins’ diagnosis and told of his desire to make a special programme about autism.
The source added: “They don’t want to sugar-coat anything and this will be a very real insight into Paddy and Christine’s lives. It’s a very big decision for them to have made and it’s unlikely there will be a dry eye in the house when viewers finally tune in.”

The model was snapped teaming her active-leisure look in New York with an oversized cream denim jacket – just days after she was trolled for what she wasn’t wearing at a protest.

LOVE Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson has signed a six-figure deal to collaborate with clothing company Pretty Little Thing – two weeks after slating the brand.
The former glamour model, who is dating co-star Wes Nelson, said in an interview: “I want to get away from Pretty Little Thing cutesy stuff.”
But after receiving a very attractive cheque, Meg changed her tune in a press release, declaring: “To sign a deal with a brand that I both admire and believe in is such a great feeling!
“PLT is affordable and caters for all women of all shapes and sizes and I love that.”

The actress was pictured cycling around Bacup in Lancashire wearing dungarees, a green cardi and a pink crash helmet.

Thandie’s expensive ‘healing’ break
THANDIE Newton forked out nearly £3,500 to attend a six-day “healing retreat” in Somerset.
The Line Of Duty star checked in to The Bridge retreat near Frome, which offers “an emotional detox with a chance to discover your zest for life”.
The sanctuary uses a mixture of silence, meditation, ritual, breathing and dance to heal guests.
We hope they chucked in a box set and cookie dough ice cream for good measure.
Hear’Say reunion will have to wait
KYM Marsh is turning into Corrie’s mother hen – and taking the show’s young stars under her wing.
As Michelle Connor, she has become the new matriarch of the cobbles, with several co-stars even calling her “Mum” away from the set. She told us: “Lucy Fallon is the latest one. I absolutely love her and the two guys who play my on-screen sons both call me Mum anyway.
