She's set to show off her fancy footwork on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. 

And Ashley Roberts looked in high spirits as she took a break from rehearsals with professional partner Pasha Kovalev in London on Friday.

The former Pussycat Dolls star, 36, wrapped up against the cold weather in a chunky black hoodie as she had a giggle with the ballroom dancer.

Ashley embraced sports chic and ensured she was dressed for comfort for the gruelling rehearsal session. 

The American beauty added to the look with a pair of monochrome leggings and trainers.

The blonde sported a light layer of make-up and styled her locks in a loose ponytail.

Pasha opted for a nearly matching ensemble, consisting of a navy hoodie and black bottoms.

Meanwhile, despite some fans insisting Ashley will have an unfair advantage on this year's Strictly thanks to her dance history, the feisty blonde is insistent she's on a level playing field.

Ashley is one of 15 celebs to sign up to the 16th series of the BBC prime time favourite, joining the likes of stand up comedian Seann Walsh, YouTuber Joe Sugg and model and author Katie Piper.

The US singer turned TV personality told MailOnline at the launch of Strictly this month that she feels the weight of expectation on her as she prepares to hit the dance floor for the first time - but her old moves are very different to those she will be taught.

'There’s a bit of pressure but the little booty smacks and booty popping I don’t think are allowed in the Latin / Ballroom world,' she insists.

'I’m nervous to learn everything. It’s just so foreign to what my body has done. I do have rhythm so it might be a little bit easier for me to possibly pick up a step.'

'But it is still a new skill that I do not know, that I am going to have to learn, that I really passionately want to learn and get in there and hopefully do alright.'

Ashley soared to fame in the modern Burlesque group and dance troupe Pussycat Dolls. She left the group in 2010 and became a judge on ITV series Dancing On Ice.

The star has admitted that while she could pick up the Latin moves quickly, she's most nervous about learning the ballroom dances.
