A bride-to-be has sparked a heated debate online after refusing to cater for her vegan wedding guests and their 'special food accommodations'.
Posting in an online wedding shaming group, the anonymous bride said two friends of the groom had sent RSVPs to the reception with their dietary requirements 'written all over the invites'.
'Nowhere on the RSVP does it ask what guests want to eat at the reception. Nowhere,' the bride wrote, adding that the response 'irked' her from the start.
'We are not making special food accommodations. If our parents needed something, sure. Them? No,' she wrote.

A bride-to-be has caused controversy online as she revealed that she won't be catering for vegan or vegetarian guests at her wedding
The bride said she and her husband-to-be had organised tacos for guests and that they wouldn't be adjusting their plans to cater for 'vegan plates'.
'What are they going to eat? The lettuce and beans? I feel like my fiancé should speak to her in advance to let her know what we are having for dinner,' she said.
'They can bring their own food or order from the restaurant property (but it's BBQ lol) at their own cost.'
The bride said she was looking for suggestions as to how to best address the situation and whether they should simply focus on their day and ignore the demand.

'We are not making special food accommodations. If our parents needed something, sure. Them? No,' she wrote
Her post received hundreds of mixed responses from members - many agreeing with her stance and others labelling her as 'selfish'.
'I'd just uninvite the vegans. Problem solved,' one group member said.
'They can eat before or after. Not their wedding.'
A woman who said she has a variety of allergies and food sensitivities said she would never expect a special accommodation at a wedding, unless it was direct family.
'I'd definitely say inform all guests as they know to make alternate plans for food, but that's about it,' she said.
Although there were many people who agreed with the bride and supported how she was handling the situation, there were also many who didn't.
'Ignoring them is just being childish, she needs to get over herself and answer them,' one person said.
'I seem to be the odd one out here for making sure my vegan and veggie friends will have something to eat,' another said.
'They're important enough for me that I'm inviting them to my wedding, I want to make sure they have a good time, which means allowing them to have something they can eat.'
'Wow, how selfish can the bride be? She probably doesn't care if any of her guests with food allergies die of anaphylaxis either,' said another.
Group members said it wouldn't be hard for the bride to make sure there was an option for those who don't eat meat.
