OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has revealed he talked to Manchester United owner Avram Glazer following the Red Devils’ 3-0 victory over Fulham.
The Norwegian coach aims to get the United job permanently after stunningly winning 10 out of his opening 11 games since taking over in December.
Solskjaer has already outlined to United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward his vision of the club in the next two years if he is trusted with the job beyond the current season.
And now the 45-year-old Norwegian revealed that one of the Glazer brothers, who watched his team win 3-0 at Craven Cottage alongside Woodward, visited the changing room after the game to talk to him in private.
He said: “I just spoke to him [Avram Glazer] outside because he came into the dressing room.
“Of course they’re happy after winning the game. Who I meet and when I meet people is not really up to me to tell.”
Solskjaer’s stock has risen after the stunning run of form has won him backing of the United changing room.
The Red Devils stars, who considered leaving Old Trafford before Jose Mourinho’s sacking, are now set to extend their contracts with the club.
Anthony Martial and Phil Jones have already put pen to paper while David De Gea and Marcus Rashford will reportedly follow suit in the near future.
Solskjaer has also just become the first United coach to win the Premier League manager of the month award in the post-Alex Ferguson era.

SunSport have reported Solskjaer will be given the job if he manages to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16.
And the Norwegian believes Saturday’s Premier League victory is a perfect warm-up ahead of next week’s clash against the Parisians.
He said: “Yeah I would think so [it is good preparation] I would like to say so.
“It’s a tough place to come to and we gave them the first ten minutes – we played into their hands.
“Some counter attacks, some balls into the box a few times but after we scored the first goal we played fantastic….the last 80 mins!
“When you’re 2-0 up you can control a game differently. Then it’s time to suck them in and play around them.
“You can keep possession for the rest of the game because you don’t need to chase a goal. It was a point of making them come towards us so we could get the third.”
