WWE fans have revealed a positive health update on Roman Reign’s cancer battle from an unlikely source.
The 33-year-old shocked the world when he relinquished the Universal Championship as he emotional announced he had been diagnosed with leukaemia for a second time.
Apart from an appearance at an American football game and a low-key visit to WWE’s Tribute to the Troops show, the Big Dog has stayed away from the spotlight as he begins his health fight.
But over the weekend a picture of Reigns, real name Joe Anoa’i, emerged on social media after he was spotted out and about by a cop.
And police officer Jimmy Sparks provided the WWE Universe with an early Christmas present regarding the dad-of-three after sharing a snap of them together.
He posted the selfie with the wrestler icon along with a caption saying: “I never know who I’m going to run into at work #romanreigns.”
Reigns’ supporters quickly spotted it as they commented with messages of support.
One wrote how much they missed him while another added: “Thank God he is OK.”

And then when someone asked the copper how the superstar was, Sparks replied: “He said he’s doing good.”
Reigns made his first public appearance since his diagnosis became worldwide news last month when he watched his former college team Georgia Tech take on the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

The former Shield member said: “I’m the real Big Dog here. To hell with Georgia, baby.”
Reigns did return to WWE last week just two months after revealing his cancer news.
Vince McMahon’s company were in Fort Hood, Texas, to film their 16th annual Tribute to the Troops, and Reigns was in attendance for the bash.
